My social circle has dwindled *dramatically* since I got sick, and the pandemic cut off 80% of what remained.
Even if I say no a lot it doesn't mean I never want to come. In fact, it means I want to see people more, when I'm able.

I notice these differences while learning Scottish Gaelic, it's a huge incentive to learn it for me! I recently learned that "agam" translates as "at me", so if you want to say you have a dog you would say "tha cù agam" - literally you are saying "the dog is at me". This may seem subtle, but ideas about human dominion/ownership are challenged by this difference 💗🌿🦋
