USCG MH-65 C & D models showed up on Mode-S, but not ADS-B. Now that CGAS Savannah is getting E-models with ADS-B, I can see them doing their evening training with CG Auxiliary boats on the Wilmington River. Here, 6565 is working with Auxiliary 327 on Marine VHF 21 (157.050).

I have zones in my Anytone 578 for #LowcountrySC ( #BlufftonSC #BeaufortSC #HiltonHeadSC ) and #CharlestonSC. The Charleston South PRN Network DMR repeater overlaps parts of both areas, so it's a good idea to put it in both zones #AmateurRadio #HamRadio #hamr #DMR #SC 4/4
I have zones in my Anytone 578 for #OrangeburgSC and #ColumbiaSC; the Orangeburg PRN Network DMR repeater overlaps both areas, so it's a good idea to put it in both zones.

If you visit #GreensboroNC and you don't have a GMRS license, get one because there's crossover between the Amateur Radio and GMRS communities there. I enjoyed QSOs and nets on both services in Greensboro during my road trip. #AmateurRadio #HamRadio #hamr #GMRS 2/4
Some amateur radio notes from this road trip from Savannah, GA to Greensboro, NC to Columbia, SC to Gaffney, SC back to Savannah, GA. These will be in the road trip radio report when I write it, but I wanted to post them here beforehand. #AmateurRadio #HamRadio #hamr 1/4
There's an analog and a DMR repeater in Kingsland; the analog is VHF and the DMR is UHF. I can use the Kingsland DMR repeater from Brunswick with my mobile radio but not with my handheld. With mobile, it will generally work up to the scales on I-95, than I can pick up the Savannah DMR repeater around the Exit 76 area. A Brunswick DMR repeater would likely fill that gap.

A Know-it-All and Radio/Repeater police show up on a repeater and proceeds to "educate" a newer ham. Two other hams show up and tell them that they're doing fine and not to get discouraged by those kinds of comments. That makes me happy.
