So... a person is booted from mastodon.social.
The admin of, in this case scholar.social disagrees with that decision and blocks mastodon.social - the whole instance.
So.. and this is the bit i am struggling to understand- does that mean all mastodon.social accounts can no longer be seen by scholar.social accounts.. is that right?
To block the instance means that every account vanishes to every member from the blocking instance?
A collective punishment?

Okay... I have my main account on Mastodon.social. I am on Metalhead.club. I am on mstdn.party. I am on toot.io. I am on mstdn.party. I am on mastodon.hams.social. Also Mastodon.radio.
QUESTION: How do I merge these servers together? I have 3 Mastodon apps now, and my list looks like this. But half of the servers are bereft of content, even though they have 65k users. What am I doing wrong?

Do I have to apply to each individual server and create a username/email? Just logging in doesn't work, so I'm missing a lot of content.
Mastodon is basically a federation of planets.
Each instance is its own solar system. Everyone that plays nice gets to interact across the fediverse.
When the Borg show up, everyone blocks them and they get banished to the delta quadrant.
