I just created this account and figured I would introduce myself. I am a historian of #anarchism and the left in the Americas. As with twitter, I plan to use this account primarily to share interesting bits of #anarchisthistory.

I am writing my dissertation, titled “Love and Rage: Revolutionary Anarchism in the Late Twentieth Century,” which explores the revitalization of anarchism in the 1980s-90s. The dissertation draws from the Anarchist Oral History Project that I help run.

I'm currently writing a piece on anarchist anti-fascism in the 1980s-90s which I look forward to sharing more of soon.

📄📣 Our paper on #sensing #weather and #climate was just published in Environment & Planning F! A colleague and I had been working on this for YEARS.

The paper itself draws together the history of meteorology, media theory, and phenomenology to make sense of 2 ethnographies of sensing weather.
