The same goes for the changes to the staff-student ratio, which will see us freefall out of the top 100 universities, with massive consequences for international recruitment. It is madness. #UoN #UCU

Ze was bezig met de laatste loodjes van het semester dat bij het University College Utrecht eindigde op 15 mei. Ze leefde van deadline naar deadline: Is dit wat studeren inhoudt?, vraagt ze zich af.

Op vrijdag 8 mei is het zover. Dan staat UCU-student Thijs Veldhuis samen met drie andere kandidaten in de finale van The Voice of Holland. Gaat hij met de felbegeerde titel naar huis? Hoewel Thijs het nu heel druk heeft, maakt hij toch even tijd vrij om met DUB te praten. “Natuurlijk hoop ik dat ik win.”
