@JulesForest MY pleasure. I agree and have been fighting back since I was a teen. Being in Canada gives me renewed energy to keep fighting. The only thing I can’t do from up here is attend protests.
@JulesForest Thanks for clarifying. I agree with all of that.

@JulesForest Couple of things:

Thx! We live in BC part time (my elderly FIL is still in Calif so we split our time), but we LOVE it here in Canada (we leave Tues. ☹️) We’re still US citizens even with perm res. So we vote US.

I AM fighting back. Define “fighting.” Does it matter where I am when I fight as I do now? Or are you saying “fighting” = civil war, killing each other? Apathy’s not my thing, as you can see by my pinned toot and bio.

Canada’s not perfect, but I feel safer here.👍🏼

@JulesForest This type of thing, and SCOTUS, are why we got permanent residency in Canada. I saw this coming in 2016.

It's time to BOOST! 🚀

We all have something to offer the world. Our stories, our experiences, our thoughts and ideas - they all matter.

When you boost someone's post, (especially someone using #today) you're not just sharing their words, you're also sharing their voice. You're giving them a platform to be heard, and you're helping to make the world a more diverse and inclusive place.

So boost #today! It's a small act of kindness that can make a big difference.

You're amazing!

Hi Everyone! 👋

Kindness is contagious. When we're kind to others, it makes us feel good and it makes them feel good too.

Here are a few ways to be kind:

* Smile at someone.
* Hold the door open for someone.
* Let someone go ahead of you in line.
* Give a compliment.
* Donate to a charity.
* Volunteer your time.

Remember, kindness is a simple act that can make a big difference. You rock!

I've said this before, but after I say it this time, I'm pinning it to my profile.

IF YOU FOLLOW ME YOU MAY EVENTUALLY SEE CONTENT THAT YOU DON'T LIKE.

I am NOT a one note Mister Rogers (whom I adore and highly respect) clone who ONLY talks about how much you rock and reminds everyone to be kind to each other.

I am a multi-faceted human being.

I have many layers, and you may run into one that you don't like.

That's because I'm 100% real.

And if that's too much, I wish you well. No shade.

The whole "Gex X, Gen Z, millennial" thing is stupid. I've never liked it. I find it to be divisive and not only unnecessary, but I believe it also creates unfair stereotypes.

And the way people treat it like it's some kind of "science" annoys me to no end. These terms were invented by JOURNALISTS. Not any social scientists or historians. REPORTERS who were writing an article and came up with these arbitrary names on arbitrary dates.

I don't use them. It's toxic.

No more Blackmore’s vitamins for me: Vitamin mogul Marcus Blackmore is another major supporter of Advance. He has donated $35,000 and told The Australian Financial Review in February he was voting No on the Voice.

This is some extremely fascist stuff. Texas is continuing its effort to strip its Democratic cities of any power whatsoever.

Democracy Docket:

NEW: #Texas Senate passes #SB1933 on a party line vote, a bill that would empower the governor-appointed secretary of state to take over election oversight from local county officials. The bill now goes to the Texas House. https://www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/texas-senate-passes-bill-to-seize-control-of-elections-from-local-authorities/
