Republicans have moved on from the traditional power-sharing arrangement between the two major parties.
(Some) Democrats have convinced themselves they will be able to vote out the Trumpists.
That is no longer in the realm of possibility.
Dems can vote until their faces turn blue, but it won't matter unless they have a sufficient number willing to take to the streets.
The only difference between Republicans and Democrats is that Republicans hate you and want you to die screaming and on fire and the Democrats hate you but want you to die quietly without making too much of a fuss.
But make no mistake they both hate you and they both want you to die.

That’s because Joe Biden is not “on the left”. Neither was Obama. Or Clinton. Mamdani is. AOC is. Bernie is. The latter three have nearly nothing in common ideologically with the former.
The Democratic party is largely center-right or right wing capitalist. They actively sabotage and sideline their leftist members at every opportunity to serve their capital interests. Interests who also largely back the fascist party in the United States too.
