My first seedlings of 2023 are just popping this morning. Whether you have a yard or a windowsill, I can't recommend enough putting seeds in soil, adding water, and waiting. I don't have a lot of answers to any of the big questions and crises of the world, but this is the most simple, hopeful thing I know how to do. It helps.

Just to put the word out for folks: the new Mastodon 4.1 update allows you to add alt text to images you've already posted. It has been frustrating up until now to be unable to fix mistakes.

So if you made an image post and forgot to add the alt text, you can now go back and fix that, which is, as we all know, the right and upstanding thing to do. Spread the word. #AltText
