Democracy in the US is defined as having a group of nine unelected high priests who make all of the important decisions and whose members are appointed for life and accountable to no one.

This is considered a very good system, a model for others to aspire to worldwide.

Here in Cleveland, Ohio they stopped collecting garbage because the air quality is so bad from the fires in Canada. This is fine.
The eternal conundrum

I have no serious thoughts about the #meta thing, but the first thing that came to my mind was when AOL said "what could it hurt if we let our users access this new weird WorldWideWeb thing through their account?". Within a week I found an ISP and dropped my AOL account.
So I wonder if, when the term “DevOps” becomes fully cringe if we’ll all start calling Azure DevOps “ADO” just like the previous ADO and “ActiveX”?
