Did you know that most scientists consider #Boreal and #Arctic regions to be #species poor, but this is only because they don't know how to identify mosses properly? Mosses and #lichens are a huge part of the #biodiversity of northern ecosystems.

Online, I am more reactive than active (irl is different). On the bird site, this is "easy" but gets depressing. Here, I often feel like a spare part. One way I have decided to turn things around is by posting pictures from my rides. I hardly ever take pictures on my rides & I'm going to have to change if I want to keep it up. I have ordered a good sized saddlebag so that I can free up space in my barbag for a camera. In the meantime, taken with my phone, on today's ride, after the rain . . .
