It's absolutely amazing how many ads and subscription pop ups a website will put up just to tell me to completely block their site, and ensure I never want anything to do with them again. All of these were taken from the same article, and these weren't the worst of them either!

I've been working on a project for months & I feel like I came up with a genius idea that no one else seems to have done. Instead of going to the relevant subreddit and asking about it I am lucky enough to have been around when forums were a big deal & still have a 17 year old account. This is why federation matters! I hope when Reddit's corpse lets loose its final death rattle, that people see the risks of putting so much of their internet use on a monolithic platform.
