@wyantyan If I may say so, practicing that feeling of saying the name of Amida or the other aspects you mentioned (mindfulness of breathing etc.) are all opportunities to develop awareness and self-knowledge. Is that what you means by "tools"?

Ultimately, as I see it, you can let go of all of that and be present. Then you will be waking up to your essence of mind. What do you think?

@markwyner You can't control a bulb, but you can encourage it to change based on its innate desire to give light.
@uk Facing life and death can be quite challenging. Your child's near death made you much more aware of the reality of life's vulnerability. If you can look closely at what life is and what it is not, and rely on that which is unchanging, it could help you.
@br00t4c Even though declining, a president has a team of people, and a philosophy and strategy that belongs to the whole administration. Ronald Reagan was senile as he served, but it was kept hidden.

@br00t4c I enjoyed your short article.

One paragraph that rang especially true:

"This has led to the commodification of spirituality, where crystal bundles, zodiac guides and manifestation journals are marketed as essentials, reducing deeply personal practices to consumer trends. I believe true spirituality isn’t about buying the right tools; it’s about creating a practice that feels authentic and personal." Having the right understanding of what builds healthy spirituality is also important.

@MercG If we could be part of Denmark, could be a good direction for the USA.
