Mom of 2, cat mom of 1.
I flew home from Honolulu to Detroit this morning, and as we reached the gate, we learned a fallen U.S. soldier was also on our flight, coming home. It was a very moving tribute as the flag-draped coffin came out of the baggage chute, the military personnel saluting and us passengers watching from inside. Thinking of that solider tonight, and their family and the holiday season ahead.
