Jolla recently introduced a referral program and shares ideas on how the community can help newcomers get started with #SailfishOS or support them with questions such as Android app compatibility. There’s also the possibility to get a referral code if you’d like to promote the Jolla Phone — with it, you can earn yourself a #Jolla T-shirt.

Hi there, On the December Jolla Phone update we noted of a referral program we’re planning to announce to help reach 10k pre-orders milestone, which also unlocks the The Other Half innovation program. It has come time to conclude and move forward. There’s been some discussion that the daily pre-order rate has dropped since December, something that was naturally to be expected. The pre-orders are anyway cumulating nicely every day (~7,300 by now!), and we think we all are very positively taken ...
We’ve just got our hands on the first appearance models of the new Jolla Phone. Having the device physically in hand is an important milestone for us, and we wanted to share it with the community.
So not to confuse: the appearance model does not have functioning electronics inside yet - actual functional samples are to come down the road later.
