One sock finished and it is lovely! I'm really glad with how the texture pattern turned out too (Hermione's Everyday Socks).
These fit perfectly and are just so soft (that'll be the bluefaced leicester wool/nylon blend then) and cosy feeling.
I'm so glad that sock knitting is one of my challenges for the coming year cos my feet are going to love me!
The 2nd sock is already on the needles :D I will have a new pair by christmas day!

I'd been waiting on payday before buying some more #HandDyed wool in my LYS. It was so pretty but I'd already splashed out this month. INSTEAD my little sister heard me going on about it and offered to send me the money for me to buy one of the skeins of #wool as an early christmas present - because she is very lovely like that. ❤️
We both decided that the favourite was definitely Raspberry Pie - which I now own but have promised no #knitting with it until after Xmas 😂

So on my journey to teach myself to #crochet I made a little #christmasgnome or #gonk this weekend too!
Isn't he a sweetie! He didn't take as long as I thought he might and I really enjoyed making him (except for the little add-ons such as limbs and nose, they get fiddly!) I think I'd like to make him some friends.

So I just had a 4 day weekend this one just gone... and it was so chilled!
This GORGEOUS skein of #wool was calling my name so I bought it from the shop and used the same shop's swift and winder before I could start sock #knitting with it.

I'm going to be using the pattern from Hermione's Everyday Socks (free on ravelry) to make it something more than just plain #knittedsocks but also still let the colours get shown off.

This is a mature, responsible, adult cat who actually likes me rubbing her belly (it's so soft!)
Yes, she has 3 legs. Yes, I got her like that. No I didn't get a discount from the rescue for not getting a fully complete Ikea model 😂 😂

It feels important to mention that I have a #cat called Mercy. Rescued her almost 11 years ago and she's the first cat I've ever had... and has the sweetest, friendliest character ❤️
