I did not enjoy the process, the yarn was a bit prone to splitting and the fact I did them on 2 mm needles probably didn't help much.
It was fiddly and perhaps not a wise choice to do them two at a time on magic loop in this case (a few dropped stitches resulting in having to knit back a bit on two socks to get to the proper point), but I fear there may not have been a second sock otherwise so I guess that's a plus.
