I had major decision paralysis for like 2 whole weekends trying to decide best way to sew these pockets (with/out a backing), then couldn’t decide what backing fabric I wanted to use from my stash so not spend $$, whether to do a bit of #quilting to prettify it, and then how to #sew it all together…

Isn't he a sweetie! He didn't take as long as I thought he might and I really enjoyed making him (except for the little add-ons such as limbs and nose, they get fiddly!) I think I'd like to make him some friends.

Something I would never do over on the bird site is to put up a personal post. So being brave here... It's that time of year when I start to draw gnomes... I've recently taken out an Artful subscription and this is my first go with the markers from their latest box.
