Americans know natural disasters well. Even as I type this, a major natural disaster is underway in California. What most Americans never consider is the human displacement caused by these disasters.

America has climate refugees. We are, however, in a much better position to help these people than poorer countries, who are largely bearing the burden/paying the price of our reckless energy policies & climate inaction.
