So exciting to be at the #saveourwildisles reception in Westminster this evening. Fantastic to be in the company of citizens from the People's Assembly as well as business and community leaders, politicians and charity folk talking about how we can save nature in the UK.

@oldmandoc yeah same! I don’t think it’s quite yet hit critical mass yet for me - some of the reasons I stayed with the bird site were about work and having access to immediate information and access to people which I don’t think we have here yet. But let’s see!

Mastodon feeling a bit like the summer house we’ve all retreated to for a little holiday rn. It’s nice, refreshing. Maybe we’ll stay this time.
@JackieLeonard I would also like the answer to this question! haven’t yet found a way to scratch my immediacy itch.
Well. Here we are again. Last couple of times I’ve struggled over here to find the right folks to follow. Took me years to carefully curate my Twitter feed! But willing to give it another go, so all recommendations welcome - I’m a heritage/environment/climate/policy and all round nerd. Look forward to connecting.

This week you may have seen the latest stage of the government's plans to scrap thousands of EU-era laws at the end of year. It's both complicated and important - and central to the idea and the reality of Brexit. Hopefully this 5 minute video helps explain it.
