Added a giant squid to the game, and it can change direction based on obstacles. Finally, i have made it to the point of designing all the levels. All the features are there.
Oceans Away nearing completion! started adding art assets. The mechanics work really well together
It took...SO MUCH WORK TO GET THIS WATER CURRENT WORKING RIGHT! (It's a current that moves whatever object is in it , and since there was a push-able block for the player to move of course that needed to be able to move again if the player comes through. The game is now mechanically complete for in-game stuff.
I made a micro game in a few hours. Its called simple space and in it you rebuild our solar system. I thought it would be fun to make a micro game, so I asked someone for a prompt and then ran with it. I like the idea of making quick micro games because it forces me to think about games in their simplest forms. No fluff, no scope creep, just what do I need right this second to make this playable. I am pretty happy with the result.
Here is a link if anyone wants to give it a shot.
So ive been working on a small project. It is a puzzle game about reconnecting castaways. It is called Oceans Away.
Adding dynamic webs to my current project. I am really happy with how this is turning out.
