Today is #WorldCancerDay.
to be a part of the #cancer community is to have received a mandatory invite to a party you never wanted to attend.
Thinking of all my fellow #survivors, patients, and those who we have lost.
A male and female northern flicker have been hanging around my feeders all morning. It will be a great day!
@bookstodon what is everybody #currentreading? I am working through Ninth House - I am not a huge #fantasy reader but LOVE #darkacademia and am enjoying this one!
I am grateful for this day, because it allowed me to get on the path to #heal. But it will always be an emotional day. even 3 years out, it hasn't gotten easier. The emotional impact of #cancer is often overlooked, but it really is work I will be doing for life.
And if something feels off in your body - get it checked out.
