Really smart advice! Sitting around with bated breath for courts to move on matters that the American public already know in their hearts is a sucker move.

In 2018, Elon Musk awarded himself a bonus of Tesla stock worth $56bn.

At the end of January this year, a judge ordered that the payout was illegal, and Musk must return them.

The lawyers in this case are apparently entitled to one third of the benefit. In order to be "fair" they're "only" asking for 11%, a mere six billion dollars.

It would still be far and away the largest award ever given to lawyers. If this goes through, it'll be hilarious.
