A man goes to the newsstand, glances at the papers, doesn't buy one, and leaves. He does this every morning.
The store owner finally asks him what he's looking for.
An obituary, he replies.
The store owner tells him that obituaries are in the back of the newspapers.
The man replies, this one won't be.
Such a weird & wonderful moment this afternoon. We were burying my father’s ashes under a maple sapling and my youngest brother was delivering a beautiful eulogy when a red fox sauntered right behind him. He never noticed it (emotions are a thing) nor did he notice the reactions of everyone facing him.
Now we have a family lore story for the ages.
I took this picture later when it returned.
Rumours are getting crazy, I guess it’s time for the White House to stage a “Weekend at Bernies”.
The president hasn’t been seen in public since Tuesday (tweets don’t count) and his schedule is clear for the Labour Day weekend.
Let’s see if he goes out golfing.
<UPDATE> Yeah, he’s out golfing. Enjoy your weekend.
