I can't work out if it's just glacially slow, or not working. So kudos on keeping me guessing.

Gen-X IT Nerd, who likes tinkering with small computers, regular-sized bicycles, playing video (and latterly tabletop) games and learning interesting things. What is 'interesting' changes on a daily basis. macOS and Linux user but tries not to be an insufferable c-word about it. Showing me Windows might make me grumpy though.
Took it to heart when someone told me "Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional".

Something very cool - this office block in Newcastle is due to be demolished, so a bunch of artists got access and used the whole thing as a canvas. Six floors of art installations, with DJs scattered around.
It was Berlin as f**k. Seeing offices twisted like this was a weird mental flip.
@jasonpettus Did you read the webpage?
See the line marked "Status" ... what does it say?
And what does that mean?
Perhaps read something like: https://ocpatentlawyer.com/abandonment-of-a-patent-application-vs-abandonment-of-the-invention/ ... specifically the part about "abandonment of the invention".
It seems to me that: "today you read someone else's post on the Internet and took it at face value without applying any critical reasoning".
So, congrats on that.
Evergreen sentiment :) #OSHWA did an excellent riff on the subject last year (psssst, y'all should make lots more of these!!):
@DM_Ronin There are literally two companies, that are not Framework, that sell mainboards for the FW13.
Does anyone on the internet read anymore?
The patent status is "abandoned", now probably like most of the folks who are frothing at the mouth over this - I am not a patent lawyer - however, it seems to me that a status of "abandoned" is unlikely to mean that Framework can prevent other people from using this tech. For example: https://ip.com/blog/patent-abandonment-why-it-matters/
Why is everyone so quick to assume the worst and pile on without any thought?
You are not, and never will be forced to buy a Framework laptop. Just be happy with that.
