Update on my injured chicken:

She has been badly scalped. We cleaned the wound, patted it dry, and slathered it in Neosporin(regular).

We have been hand feeding her sugar water and a little salt water along with regular water from a syringe.

She is trying to get up and stand on her own. We have her in a cat cage to keep her from doing so. Shes a Indigo Gigante, even as a juvenile, shes a good sized bird.

Hopefully she pulls through

Any #avian #veterinarian folk out there? Or even more experienced #poultry #chicken folk?I have a juvenile Indigo Giant who was attacked by my other flock of regular sshole chickens. They have bloodied her real good. Im not sure if she is going to make it, and no vets in this area will treat a chicken. They tore into the back of her neck. She can barely lift her head at all. Like, her neck moves but not her head

Hey #theatre folk and #theatrekids my 9 year old has his play coming up, and he is a king's
guard. He, short notice, wants to have hair cut to look more like a king's guard. Its medieval fairytale sort of theme.

We dont have a whole lot of hair to work with. What haircuts do yall suggest beyond the "high and tight"?
