I didn't have $1,080. I had to borrow it from a family member who loves dogs, but was not thrilled with the amount, and it will take me 6 months to pay it back.

My dog is 10 years old. The cost for Pet insurance is outside my financial range.

The next step, if I choose to take it, is to perform an aspirate biopsy and send the specimen to the a pathologist - $400.

This is insane. Ugh!
