I recently got married so of course I made a pico-8 cart with wedding themed games.
It started because I wanted to draw my then fiancé in 16x16 resolution but she loved the idea so much she joined me in the development with suggestions.
It was very cool to get to collaborate with her on such a personal project!
We made NFC cards and gave them out at our wedding so people could play during the reception!

I added a farmer and some basic farming mechanics.
Next step will be completing the game loop with commerce!
I completely changed the tile structure but now plants can grow and need water.
It might be time to start turning these mechanics in some sort of a game!
Update on my auto tiling system in #pico8 : I can now manage multiple layers. So here come the seeds!
I'm developing a mini-farming game to unwind. Of course I started by developing an auto-tiling system!
It's simple but it should suit my needs.
I was surprised to not find a lot of material on this topic for #pico8 so I'm wondering: is this a very niche scenario?
i drew a simple #pixelart studio using the #gb palette and then mapped some colors from the #PICO8 palette.
Which is your favorite and what other PICO-8 color combinations would you suggest?
