A little over six months ago, I developed a small game for Pico 8:

The idea: In a post-apocalyptic metropolis, a rabbit wants only one thing—to play a game of basketball.
Now I'm wondering, should I redevelop it on a different platform with different graphics like so?
interesting
the #picotron palette i was using all this time seems to have been slightly different from the actual image
i can tell that it's not a color profile error because all the colors that are native to #pico8 are correct
but still, weird
UPD: huh, turns out picotron v0.3.0 did, indeed, change the palette a little bit, and i was comparing the newer palette against an older reference image -- the differences are hard to notice, but they exist
next update for Picpic this Friday, with save states and audio on Apple Watch :)

What happens when a luchador enters a dungeon? 👊
Adam Atomic released a new #pico8 game recently, so we had to check it out! (I'm also live in an hour, playing Soulbound Re-cursed!)

Last night at work between actual work bursts I followed a tutorial and made (finished!) a game in #pico8 ...
It might just be a flappy-bird!type and pretty bloody simple, but I found and fixed my mistakes and even one that was from a small typo in the tutorial. And a few of the functions and such feel like they might actually be finally penetrating my thick skull.
So maybe I can actually learn to do small things with this ...
Messing around with particle systems.
