Ben verhuisd naar mastodon.nl. Technisch econoom met interesse voor groene energie. Volleybalt en fietst graag. Huis ('82) bleek afgelopen winter geschikt voor warmtepomp, ook als er op natuurijs geschaatst werd. De pomp staat er inmiddels.

Either tram networks *are electrified already*, or would be new built, and then you pay a little extra to put up an overhead wire, not run a tram with a much less efficient hydrogen power train instead. Or if you want no overhead wires on a section, use a supercapacitor or battery

@collectifission De 2030 deadline is om vaart te maken, met bewezen technieken. Dan zijn we inderdaad nog niet klaar. Of kernenergie later een deel van de oplossing wordt, weet ik niet, maar we moeten er niet op wachten.
Een paar 100MWe fossiele opwek is 10-20x zo klein als 1 SMR, schakelt deels af als er geen warmtevraag is, dus een SMR koelen in een Twentse zomer? Gaat niet niet werken.
En een SMR zet je ver weg van dichtbewoond gebied, dus ook voor warmte in winter niet handig.
