Pumpkin likes to sit at the table like a person and try to steal food. It's both adorable and infuriating. Not pictured is the adorable way his nose looks when he's sniffing for food which makes it hard to be mad until he snatches your halloumi. An upside of having to move back with my parents (who I love deeply don't get me wrong I just liked being an independent adult) is living with the cats again
I am ridiculously excited about this book!! It got picked as our book club book this month and I was contemplating buying it when a friend said she had actually bought a copy for my birthday (a couple of months away still) and has given it to me early. What a present. Such a beautiful cover!! Pirate adventures! The Indian Ocean! Oooooooooh
I'm trying to take it slow in the hopes I won't have to deal with a crash from overextending myself with a couple of social things (poor planning) and two big medical appointments (unavoidable). Haven't written anything for a while, sometimes life gets in the way. Been learning to deal with this #chronicillness for a year now and it's still a constant challenge to balance things. At least I have good company.
The low light in winter can be hard but it also creates beautiful moments like this. Please forgive the low quality phone snap
