Share a great review/message/compliment your writing got.
Already mentioned the response to "Blue Moon" - my WIP.
But here's something else: A Fool' Errand (Amazon)
I really enjoyed the book .I didn't know what to expect but it's a story of strength of character . Inspiring ..we are all capable of being a good kind person who can effect the world in positive ways ..And that extra spice of fantasy and challenges . And I loved the donkey !
A little bit of fun from my WIP...
His enthusiasm returned. âWhat about you? You got a sheep, didnât you? Was it what you expected?â
âLittle one.â Gorfa lifted his head and studied Karnu. âCould you please be a little less loud with your enthusiasm?â That said, he flopped back down.
I clambered to my feet. âCome, letâs talk a little.â I jerked my head away from my group. âSomewhere where we can be enthusiastically loud.â That little barb evoked a huff from Gorfa, but it was good natured.
Not simply a case of "back to writing" but I am experiencing 'joygasms' as the words flow onto the page.
End of Jan 2024 is a reasonable (self-imposed) deadline for the completion of "Blue Moon".
This is the kick-off post in a series in which I'm going to explore things that we could change about the Web. The odds are pretty good that I will be wrong, possibly even very wrong. You're going to dislike some, or perhaps all of it! My point isn't to jump straight into building these ideas â even though I do believe they point in a better direction and are feasible â but rather to break out of the incrementalist rut and stagnant vision that the Web finds itself mired in. It's not in a good place and I feel the need for more vision work and much more thinking about architectural interventions that can bring about radical change.
On September 30 in Delhi, the Software Freedom Law Centre (SFLC) organised an event to celebrate Software Freedom Day. Ravi Dwivedi was there with a stand and merchandise, to raise awareness about LibreOffice. Here are some photos from the event:
I honestly love my job so much. I feel so supported, everyone is kind, HR and my boss are there for when I think I may be overthinking and we talk and it usually is that I'm overthinking it lol.
Just genuinely super happy I found a good place with good people and felt like my timeline was a bit down in the dumps so I'm posting some happy
#news "Donald Trumpâs Truth Social wants $1.5 billion in damages from news organizations which reported that the social media platform had lost $73 million."
[As Per Usual .. True To Form ..
Trump has greatly exaggerated his losses.
He is a con-artist and his 'numbers' are not credible.]
