Help... help, HELP, HELP!!!!!!
Ok, that's enough begging.

What I'm looking for is some assistance in dragging the muse back to writing.

I am open to suggestions for subject material for a short story - which may be serialised on Mastodon - simply to challenge my creativity.
(Last time : murder/mystery, fantasy, survival - produced "Walker")

Any subject, any genre (or even a mixture) - if I get enough suggestions I may create a poll for the most popular/striking ideas.

Activism in my creative work... only if you count promoting the nobler aspects of humanity wherein those who are capable WILL defend those who cannot defend themselves against the injustice perpetrated by various systems of government supported, bought and paid for by those with wealth, power or both in excessive amounts.

🤔 Y-e-a-h...ish... trying to encourage people of all ages to be more active/social by setting up access to (indoor) table tennis all year round in the little town I currently reside in.

Muse A.W.O.L. and has been for more than a year...

Establishing table tennis facilities via the local council (in Spain) is dragging on - the only positive is I haven't been told "NO", yet... Not a big positive as many Spaniards don't like to say "no" until they are cornered with no way out.

#PennedPossibilities 992—If your MC unexpected died, who would they want to raise their child(ren) if they have any? Have they already made a plan for this in case it happens?

Tommy would expect his partner/wife to raise the child(ren), and if she was unable to take up the role, there would be a list of those he calls family, from the Marauders, who would adopt the child(ren) as their own.

You turn the corner on a dimly lit street and see…

Another figure, at the far end of the street, has turned that corner at the same time.
Both of you stop and you try to determine if you know that person.
You raise your right hand and wave, only to stop when the other person raises their left hand and waves, stopping at the exact moment as you .
You both look around before turning your attention back to the other person.
"Do I know you?" Two mouths, with a single voice...

I may have mumbled the odd excerpt at some of my students, but formally, nope!

Other performances have included stage/theatre and, of course Karaoke in a bar (for which I received a fairly enthusiastic round of applause!) which has NEVER been repeated other than in private booths in an Asian karaoke establishment.
