SeeadlerBeen working on a #modelrailway wagon load for the layout in its pre-war guise, so here is the (unique) Vickers Independent tank. Obviously the idea of multiple turrets didn't pan out and was more-or-less abandoned by the start of WW2, but the Independent was a fascinating dead-end for all that.
Oh, and the disaffected soldier who stole and sold the plans for it wound up the last 'regular' prisoner in the Tower of London.

If you follow a lot of accounts, your close friends' posts may not show up in your feed at a time you're logged on. Unlike FB or Twitter, Mastodon has no algorithm to resurface your friends' posts from hours or days ago.
Solution: Create a list called "Friends" and check it when you're on. This will ensure that you see what they posted while you were away. (cont'd)
