To some, flying is so routine they close their blinds and sleep, but for me? As long as there's sunlight to be had, I pay rapt attention and take in a wonder that few human beings who ever lived got a chance to experience: "A Dream of the Clouds from the Other Side...", taken by yours truly.

芸名のため搭乗お断り

とあるアイドルグループの沖縄公演に際して、一部メンバーが芸名で航空券を購入していたため、搭乗を断られて休演となってしまったそうですが、それを運営が公式Xアカウントで本文では触れていないのに「#ジェットスター」というハッシュタグをつけて投稿したことで物議を醸していました。暗にジェットスターのせいでと言っているようで良くなかったわけですが、すでにこの投稿は削除され、なかったことにされているようです。

私自身もこのグループについてはこの件で初めて知ったのですが、別にここで叩こうというわけではありません。ただ、芸名だったから搭乗できなかったというのもちょっと誤解がありそうだと思ったのです。国際線では搭乗時にもパスポートでの本人確認が必要なので、芸名では搭乗できないのではないかと思います。しかし、国内線の場合には通常そこまで厳格な本人確認は行われない場合が多いのではないでしょうか。

これはあくまで私の推測・想像ですが、ひょっとすると「芸名で買ってしまったのですが…」と余計な確認をしてしまったために、「名刺などで本人であることが証明できれば問題ありません。」というような回答になったのではないでしょうか。投稿では「搭乗条件として芸名証明できる名刺の提示が求められましたが、アイドルの為、持っておりませんでした。」となっていましたが、航空会社としても聞かれてしまうと確認せざるを得ないでしょう。証明できるものが何もない状況で、「もう仕方ないので乗ってください」とは言えませんよね。

まあこれは本当に私の想像でしかないので事実がどうだったのかはわかりませんが、名刺でもいいとされたのはかなり柔軟な対応と思われ、そこに社名を挙げて「こいつのせいで」というような言い方は批判されても仕方ないだろうと思います。そもそもどうして芸名で購入してしまったのかもわかりませんし、他に何か方法があったのではないかとも思えますし、色々わからないことがありますが、余計なハッシュタグさえなければ…炎上してしまったのはそこに尽きますよね。
