I'm a web and service dev for #ageofempires by day. In my free time I'm in to #trailrunning, #mountainbiking and other #cycling amongst other things. I also do things like create my own instance in order to add some level of control to my mastodon experience (which I'm still learning).

@grumpygamer Also prefer text but wanted more functionality/organization then notepad alone. Did some app load timing tests and I think I might settle back on Sublime with a Notes folder of txt files.

@BlackAzizAnansi because it's so white? Might make it seem less welcoming. What do other services offer that are more diverse that's missing here? If it's the diversity itself, I'm not sure how you create critical mass to encourage a move.
