🇺🇸🇨🇳 Reuters: U.S. officials say China’s top chipmaker, Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC), has been supplying chipmaking tools and technical support to Iran’s military for about a year.

The company, already under U.S. sanctions over alleged military ties, may have helped Iran’s “military industrial complex.”

🇮🇳❗️Reuters: India is rebuilding energy ties with Russia after supply disruptions caused by the U.S.–Israel attack on Iran.

Talks are underway to resume Russian LNG exports and increase crude oil imports, which could rise to 40% of India’s total supply.

New Delhi had earlier cut Russian purchases under pressure from U.S. tariffs but is now seeking a sanctions waiver from Washington.
