@QuokkaMocha That's awesome. Good for you, a) for realizing and b) doing something about it.
Originally it was because I wanted to get more information in. But then I've ended up writing close-third which is still in tight with the characters, so that didn't work. BUT I have ended up adding a second POV which has allowed that information to flow.

Mine are going through a major change. Last year's course taught me how little I knew about writing a good story. So, I've ripped it apart and am in the middle of reworking the second half.
