I currently work at my alma mater, the University of Washington, as an administrative support professional.

America has often been a place of contradictions and controversies; I'm in the "diversity is our strength" camp. Seattle suits me more than most places in America, and since the 2016 Presidential election, I have joined at least a couple of protest marches every year.
I support creativity, critical reasoning, and kindness.

A "Tax Return" isn't a refund to an individual, but perhaps a reminder that the government claims to own everything and wants an accounting of its investments, before deciding how much it will demand to be returned to it.
"Tax Refund" happens when the government gets caught taking too much money and gives a little bit back, or when someone tricks the IRS into thinking that they took too much.
Many might view the government as an abusive partner in a dysfunctional marriage.
