A jury found that Meta, which owns Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, was liable for the way in which its platforms endangered children and exposed them to sexually explicit material and contact with sexual predators.

This is the same company behind age verification lobbying effort to protect child but in reality it is the biggest offender out there. How ironic?

Did we learn nothing from the Iraq war?

Another world is possible: one powered by peace, justice and renewable energy, not oil, gas and fossil fuel-driven conflict. Ending the age of fossil fuels means weakening the systems that enrich autocrats and warmongers, and building a future that puts people, not profit, first.

While talking to a colleague about how I recently learned most people have never sat on a cow it came up that she has never sat on a horse. Like, not even once during childhood.

Another colleague admitted they also have never sat on a horse.

My hypothesis is that most people have at one point in their life sat on a horse.
