Getting tired of The Last Caretaker, but I love the feeling of scavenging in it
Taking actual items and feeding them to a machine to get resources
Running power lines to restore old ruins

One of my players wants to a play a dog person in my Alternity/Stardrive game. Fits in well enough with the setting, but I would like some lore to go with it: can anyone point me towards any dog like aliens from other science fiction settings that I could borrow ideas from? Don't care what medium it is, though, obviously ttrpgs would be the easiest to steal from
And, you know, while I'm at it, let me tl;dr what the latest news is.
DOJ has been flagrantly violating the law on what/when to release and what to redact.
Last night, someone took a DOJ URL that was like doj.gov/something/7, changed it to doj.gov/something/8, and tried it, revealing a whole trove of unreleased documents. DOJ then took it down. Then this morning, DOJ put it back up.
It turns out that a lot of the redactions are just cosmetic and can just be copy-pasted away.

Does anyone know of any Canadian glassblowing suppliers? I'm looking to get a set of BoroTruView 3.0 Lampworking Glasses 33 and a National 3A-B hand torch, and some accessories, and all the suppliers I can find are in the US or UK (and the UK ones don't ship to Canada). Would rather avoid huge tariffs.
Edit: Other non-USA glassblowing suppliers that ship to Canada also welcome!

This looks like a great RPG for anyone who wants top tier dragon art!
Astounding vol. 61, no. 4 (June 1958)
This looks like a mutant Kincaid painting with those super-saturated colours. I like the thing which is either a long-necked hippo or a squished giraffe.
If there were two moons in the sky of a planet, would they both be in the same phase? I'm scratching my head over that one.
