@indivisibleteam honest question, I read through the first bit of the bill and it states clearly there that REAL ID is an acceptable form of ID. This post suggests a driver’s license isn’t good enough, is MI atypical in having REAL ID driver’s licenses?
I am fully against voter suppression, but there seems to be a disconnect from what I see the bill saying it will do versus what people are suggesting it will be used for.
@rbreich I feel like the part of this that needs the most attention is that big corporations and wealthy folks will move to where laws benefit them the most, but poor and middle class regular people usually don’t have that luxury.
It’s creating loopholes to enact forced indentured servitude.
@TechConnectify I switched to an induction stove and had the gas line removed entirely. Recently suggested to a friend with a ‘normal’ resistive hob that they would like induction. They were hesitant until I told them about my time to boil testing. (They do canning).
The ‘gas is better’ narrative is wildly pervasive.
