Bad news 😔💔

I am sad to announce today that unfortunately I will not be working with Privacy Guides anymore after the end of this month.

Good news! 🚨

I will be available for a new position or contract, starting in April!

I am looking for a position or contact for:

✊ Digital rights activist (with a specialty in privacy rights)

🔒 Privacy expert or consultant

 Fediverse and Mastodon advocate

🙌 Managerial position

📰 Tech journalist

💻 Technical writer

💚 Or any other fitting positions

I am especially interested in working with nonprofit organisations, cooperatives, open-source projects, privacy-oriented software companies, or any other organisations working for the public good.

🇨🇦 Remote from Canada

 All the work I produce is guaranteed to be AI-free

Let me know if you hear of any good opportunities!

I made an app.

Nearby Glasses is here to warn you when smart glasses are nearby.

I hope it's useful for someone.

The app is now open source (AGPL-3.0), the app is free and rather simple

It's also downloadable outside the Play Store. iOS port is in the making. F-Droid is an option, will have to look into that

UPDATE: I got so many great responses! Thank you all! It will take me a little time to get back to everyone, but I promise I will do so.

@DGI @andre_ourednik Totally with you on that point. But most people will also get triggered by the word which describes that system. We need to get the working people understand what it means to be a worker and what power we hold in our today's system.

In October 2025, a critical server-side flaw in Instagram made it possible for unauthenticated attackers to view private photos and captions without needing to log in or to follow the account. Instagram silently patched the vulnerability.

Here’s how the PoC worked…

Exploit developers! I'm #hiring them! Specifically in the U.S. and UK!

We're growing even more than anticipated at VulnCheck, and I think this is probably going to be a kinda-sorta evergreen post. If you're into:

* Writing pre-auth RCE exploits
* Writing Windows exploits
* Writing IoT exploits
* Not stopping at exploits (detections, bypasses, ASM queries, scanners all in scope)
* Talking about vulns and exploits
* Writing about vulns and exploits

...then we want to talk to you! Roles are 100% #remote, but location matters — strong preference given to folks in Cheltenham, UK or MA / MD / TX here in the ol' US of A. No sponsorship or relocation, sorry!

Sound good? Hit me up or apply directly — evergreen UK JD is below, U.S. description coming soon! #remotework

The pictures now coming out of Gaza are truly shocking, and I ask all Israelis: “Who is going to pay for what your government has done?”

This is not the aftermath of a “hunt for terrorists”. This is the aftermath of indiscriminate bombings.

Your politicians let this happen. So who is now going to pay for this? Will Netanyahu pay this out of his own pocket? Does this fall on the Israeli tax payers?

Who do you expect to pay?

@DaveMWilburn Wondering how Custom ROMs will handle this.
Also, thank you for adding the new word "surreptitiously" to my vocabulary.
