Not sure I like pi.dev as much as Claude... just going ahead and deleting a database (which it did not create as part of this task, but was meant to be adding data to) is not really what I had in mind.

Not critical as it was test data, but I think it should probabl y think twice about just deleting things it didn't create.

On the subject of baked beans though, folks in the US are being gouged (thanks in part to the convict, but only in part as they always cost more).

For comparison, a can of regular Heinz baked beans here at Safeway costs $5.99 (for 390g). In the UK, the same beans are £1.40 ($1.89) for a can (415g too), without the loyalty club discount. That makes the US can more than 3x the price.

Last time I was back in the UK I bought a couple of cans of baked beans… the chilli ones were OK, but I can make a better version. The Jalfrezi ones though were really good. Going to have to see if I can replicate that.

I found this brand of instant ramen while in Japan (the amazing ramen restaurant we went to that had vegan ramen on its menu sold them). The new Japanese grocery market in Emeryville had the original and this hot & sour flavor. They’re quick to make and taste amazing.

I was a little surprised they highlight no alcohol (wasn’t expecting any in instant ramen anyway).

These are made in collaboration with T’s Restaurants (https://ts-restaurant.jp)

Apparently, I have a very, very special iPhone SE 3rd Gen that was purchased in 1978...

They’re certainly not going to win any awards, but for handheld at 800mm with only IBIS to help (it doesn’t help much), I’m happy with these as the first shots from the crazy mirror lens. (Check out the donut bokeh!}

The cons, aside from not really being suitable for handheld use: it’s hard to focus (very shallow depth of field) & a little soft even when in focus.

Hey umpires, I get it that calling balls & strikes isn’t always that easy. I don’t mind if you get a few edge cases wrong. This pitch was outside, he got that right. It was meant to be to draw the swing & miss. But missing the bat being swung & calling it a ball? That’s not hard to get right - it’s right in front of you, right where you’re meant to be looking.

Sure, some check swings are close calls. This one ends with the bat pointing at the pitcher.

Yup, didn't think it was fixed.

Got a fun new lens to try. None of my birds were there when I looked earlier, but since it is also manual focus it might be hard to catch most of them anyway.

Might try a moon shot tonight if the sky is clear.
