UCL ChemistryLOOK!!! There is a new post-doctoral fellowship scheme by the Royal Society. The Career Development Fellowship (CDF) is a 4-year, PDRF that aims to support the retention in STEM of researchers from underrepresented backgrounds.
Candidates are eligible if they:
* Self-identify as being from a Black heritage including mixed Black background;
* Have a PhD or will have one by the time the funding starts; but have less than 24 months post-doctoral experience.

Willem van SchaikI am moving most of my sci comms to BlueSky, which I find far more user-friendly than Mastodon.
I will remain on Twitter but my account there will be locked for extended periods of time.
Threads is a non-starter as it does not cover the EU (also: not a fan of Meta).
Not sure how much time I will have to cross-post to this platform unless somebody knows of an app that allows me to simultaneously post on Mastodon and BlueSky.
