The whole premise of the film, stated explicitly in the prologue, is "the wrong people are having children".

The Russians have published a game on Steam called ‘Ukrainian Warfare: Gostomel Heroes’, which is a perfect example of careful disinformation directed against a specific community.

The game’s description explicitly states that they “want to show what happened in Ukraine at the beginning of this war” when “when it was supposed to end in a matter of days” thanks to “brilliant Russian airborne assault” but then “turned into a years-long slaughter” as result, as the description, suggests, of false promise of “draft peace agreement in Istanbul in March 2022”.

Every word of this description is a lie, but the game is still available on Steam Store and is scheduled for release on 24 March.

I encourage you to report it, for example, as defamatory, which may result in its availability being restricted, for example, to Russia, where the fraudsters will be able to convince themselves.

Imagine if US voters had picked Kamala Harris. She would have continued the Ukraine weapons support, she would have kept the strong alliances with Europe, and she would never have killed the Iran nuclear deal.

Together we could have forced Putin out of Ukraine, there would have been no new, wider war in The Middle East, and the NATO alliance would have been stronger than ever. And in that situation, I think our economies would have been considerably stronger too.

Populism derailed all that.

Now would be an excellent time for @Mastodon devs to prioritize the inclusion of tootctl-style status and media clearing options in the default Admin interface. These issues have been sitting open on GitHub for literal years at this point.

Across the network, we need better and more accessible means of managing database and media storage sizes to keep costs more affordable and to reduce server closures. This need is only becoming more and more pressing as infrastructure costs climb.
