So GooglePlay has gone beyond stupid, now one has to hop through VPN Geo locations to check ratings and reviews sigh 🤦

There are apps with over 100k downloads in which I can not see a single rating and review unless I hop into a different location

Sometimes i just want a quick overall feel of what is happening on my personal mastodon stream.

So i am doing a thing for personal use, that orders entries based on a score system (not tailored at all, plain deterministic)

score = favourites_count + (reblogs_count * 2) + (replies_count * 3)

Plain and simple which definetely fits my needs.

CSS and markup blindly "stolen" from mastodon :D

Managed to to connect a #esp32 to a #LedStrip added some #PIRsensor and a #WebInterface and now i have my own #diy #iot lights.

I am amazed how it worked at the first attempt after removing the setup from the breadboard to a soldered #protoboard, something must be wrong for sure, it might catch fire on it's own 🔥

I bought a DKON1808 the non-backlit version and i was very happy with how typing felt.

Although...the white characters on light grey #keycaps 😕 really bummed me. I found myself struggling as i often work in dim light.

It is not that i do not know where the keys are, but when focused i just want to look down punch the key and go on with it.

Gladly ducky released the #firmware which allowed it to become backlit with:
Fn + (left) Alt + C for 3sec

So i had to give it a try.

Suddenly after leaving my phone charging over night the screen became unresponsive in two zones.

Any help or advice on how should i proceed is very much appreciated.

The phone is a OnePlus 3, i will present my debug steps on this thread.

I would really like to avoid buying a new phone, the cost of this display (screen + digitizer) is close to it's price on second hand.
