A cohort-mate's friend passed a book scanner down to her which she has promptly passed to me. We've spent the morning setting it up and testing it. It even has a little foot pedal to take the pictures!! I am an unstoppable book historian now! The world is mine to scan!!! Muahahaha! #Books

Finished piecing the top of the latest quilt, now time to machine applique all of the paper pieced hexi-flowers! Anyone have any prefered techniques/stitches for machine applique? This will be my first time doing it!

I really need to get a hobby that does not involve my hands. At the end of writing about 20,000 words in the last 2 weeks bc of finals plus knitting and piano to relax during said finals, my hands are just dead.
