Been a while (blame me being stuck in a pain flare), but here's a copy of Ashley Shew's "Against Technoableism," which i borrowed from my local library. Very interesting look at how people often view technology as the ultimate "fix" for disability while ignoring the many systemic problems that disabled people face on a daily basis.

Still have most of this series on my TBR (read book 1 already, though), but I have yet to encounter a Jemisin novel i haven't loved, so my expectations are high!
Hope your infusions help, fellow spoonie!
Ann Liang's "I Am Not Jessica Chen." About halfway through, and I'm pretty into it thus far. It definitely speaks to a version of me I used to want to be.

Chris Bohjalian's "Hour of the Witch" is a brilliantly compelling piece of historical fiction. A woman trying to leave her abusive husband in 1660s America, and getting accused of witchcraft along the way? How can that NOT be a captivating story?

Chilling with my fluffy cat on a chilly day.

Actually, it's bloody cold today, to the point where some pipes have frozen and I had to call maintenance. My apartment doesn't have good insulation, which is why I stay in bed a lot during the winter, under blankets and with cats and books.

The trials and tribulations of a disabled bookworm, I guess.
