Never consent to pretend that shitbirds are decent people. You don’t have to spend your time throwing elbows at them, but don’t allow yourself to be bad-faithed into thinking that democracy or civility require you to treat shitty morons like they’re normal and acceptable.

Tell your kids about Ruby Bridges, the first black child at an all-white public elementary school in Louisiana.

She turned 68 last year.

She’s only 68.

68.

Stanford was right to apologize. This is an embarrassment to the institution. Denounce the speaker online or shun the Federalists who invited the speaker or protest outside the venue. But preventing the speaker from speaking and the attendees from listening? That's totalitarian shitbirdery and ought to make law students unemployable.

A massacre.

He decided to act. /1 🧵 #history #histodons

Just recorded the first Serious Trouble episode of the new year, out tomorrow. This week: George Santos is in serious trouble. Sam Bankman-Fried is in REALLY serious trouble. And Scott Adams is still making dumb defamation threats.
