Left of Center Democrat but I believe there's much more to life than politics. Not a fan of anyone too far to the left or right. I prefer people who can see other's points of view and aren't obsessive purists on any topic. Purism typically = fascism, let's avoid that...
I like to discuss movies, tv, sports... love to see your art and photography.

Appreciate people that would actually like to have a conversation.

Hello.

@AnalGoddess770
No Anal that's not why progress was made towards human rights, suffrage....

Gluing your feet to a cement floor only makes you look like a foolish twit.

@AnalGoddess770

I'm an environmentalist and I think these protests do more harm than good. It will swing no one to their side and more people will look at environmentalists as witless, useless kooks.

So not cool.

@TennisPodcast

Just heard one of the protesters glued his feet (I think bare feet) to the stadium.

@molly_mcelwee

OMG! What a jerk. Just leave him there. Cuff him and tape his mouth shut. Deal with it after the matches are over.

I wrote a thing about how we might watermark AI-generated text that works across apps, platforms and devices. Itโ€™s a simple/elegant hack for a real problem, and compared to the alternatives ๐™จ๐™ค ๐™™๐™–๐™ข๐™ฃ๐™š๐™™ ๐™š๐™–๐™จ๐™ฎ.

The idea is: Use Unicode to mark text that AI has written. Think โ€œtrack changes, but for AI.โ€ Not an enforcement mechanism, and voluntary.

Lots of work to do but an elegant hack may be hiding in plain sight.

To Watermark AI, It Needs Its Own Alphabet

It's getting harder to distinguish between AI- and human-generated content. But Unicode presents an elegant hack in the race to watermark AI-written text.

And start by blocking me paranoid person.
As someone who has watched a great deal of tennis I have to say the most obnoxious fans I've ever seen (at a tennis match) were the troglodytes at today's French Open at the Fritz v Rinderknech match. I've seen a lot of bad sportsmanship but these Philistines sunk to the level of the sewer today.

@ThomasScott6722 Today was 60 degrees, mostly sunny but very, very windy.

And you?

A distant crisis: Top MBTA managers live hundreds โ€” or thousands โ€” of miles from the troubled system theyโ€™re trying to fix

Los Angeles, Chicago, and South Florida are among the places T executives call home.

Just in case any of us in #Massachusetts feel like we are relatively smart these days:

We elected a Republican white bread baloney sandwich governor to "keep an eye on the Dem legislature" and he destroyed the subway.
